Civil War Photo Gallery
The West and South Albany high school football teams went head-to-head in a Civil War on Friday, September 27. A pre-game tailgate was hosted at West, welcoming student spectators from both high schools to come together before the War. Food, games, and facepaint was offered. In the first quarter senior Porter Phillips (#23) brought West Albany into the lead with an impressive run and touchdown. The Bulldogs kept a remarkable lead, reaching 35-0 by half time. In the third quarter, sophomore Daniel Luttrell (#46) surprised spectators by breaking through the linemen and making a significant run for the West team. The Bulldogs beat the Redhawks with a final score of 49-0.
