With the highs come the lows. 

     “We played a lot of higher level teams than we have in previous years,” senior Lily Peña said “So when we lost, we lost really bad.” 

     The hardest part of this season was how the girls lacrosse team was going against better teams than they have been. Overall this was a great season for the team even with the lows. 

     “I’ve been playing Lacrosse for three years,” Peña said, “and this was the first time we made it to playoffs.” 

     The best part of the season was Wednesday, May 15, when they made it to the playoffs at Wilsonville. The team hasn’t made it to the playoffs for at least three years. Getting to the playoffs was a big event. However they lost the first game, kicking them out of the tournament.

   This season was a good one for the girls lacrosse team and had at one point in the season, a 10 game win streak. “This was my favorite season so far because everybody actually liked each other and we had fun at our games,” Peña said.
