On Sept. 20, 2019, dozens of West Albany Students answered climate activist Greta Thunberg’s call for a climate strike. The West Albany environmental club organized a strike, and the participating students met in the lobby after lunch before marching to the Albany courthouse with their signs, calling for immediate climate action.

Also featured in this audio and photo slideshow is the climate strike that took place outside of the Corvallis courthouse, where hundreds of Corvallis citizens rallied in hope of pushing legislation in favor a solution to the climate crisis.
