Senior Garret Lee breaks district record
On May 19, the MWC District Track and Field meet happened at West Albany High School. With many West students competing, one of them was senior Garrett Lee, who competed in pole vault, the 110 and 300 meter hurdles, prelims. During the competition, Lee set a new district record of 14 ‘1” in pole vault, beating the old record of 13’ 10”. Lee also got first place in the 110 and 300 meter hurtles, with a time of 14.6 seconds in the 110 hurtles.
