On Oct. 3, 2024, West Albany High School’s student classes elected who will lead their grades for the year. The winners of the election were announced on the intercom during Dog Teams. Each class had a secretary except for the juniors and seniors, and the sophomore class was the only class without a treasurer.

 The freshman class president is Kaden Truong, working with vice president Alex Bates, secretary Caylee Habelt, and treasurer Maggie Ciaffoni. During the announcement of winners, there was a miscommunication where Cody Bengtson was originally announced as the freshman president. It was later corrected and reannounced that Kaden Truong was the correct president.

The sophomore class President is Dima Stein, working with vice president  Iris Rowe and secretary  Leticia Sifuentez. 

The junior class didn’t elect a secretary, but the president is Edson Conn, the vice president is Alex Antrim, and the treasurer is Tonya Sossie.

Finally, the senior class also doesn’t have a secretary, but their class president is Charlie Mack, the vice president is Cole Harnar, and the treasurer is Addysen Friend.

Students appear ready to see how their class leaders will fulfill their jobs this school year.
