Basketball requires a lot of skills like running, throwing, and coordination but one skill that doesn’t quite stand out is leadership. We asked the JV girls basketball players who on their team stood out as a leader, and here’s what they said.
WW: Who do you think shows the most leadership?
Sophomore, Peyton Ordeman: “I think Alli shows the most leadership”.
Sophomore, Natalie Osborn: “Faith.”
Freshman, Summer Boase: “Everyone.”
Freshman, Violet Aguilar: “Peyton.”
Freshman, Regina Romero: “I would say Summer Boase.”
Sophomore, Ellie Barr: “I’d say Peyton shows the most leadership [be]cause she’s always really positive at practices and really just builds us up”.
Freshman, Alli Schlehuser: “I think we all have an equal part of leadership, but if I had to pick someone, I would probably pick Natalie because she’s got seniority over us and she leads our warm-ups and chants.”
Freshman, Faith Dineen: “I think that’s a really hard question to answer because our team, between our sophomore[s] and freshmen it’s kind of divided equally. I think everyone participates and shows a different kind of leadership”.
Freshman, Colbie Hoyt: “A mix of everybody.”
