Many today overlook the importance of our environment, which is a huge mistake. Our environment is more than vital to our existence and joy.
With the steady increase of the human population today, our planet struggles to produce enough resources for us to live comfortably. As we go through our daily lives, we constantly leave what’s called a “Human Footprint”. Not a physical footprint, but a footprint that is measured by how we consume the environment’s resources.
Whether it be littering or burning fossil fuels, the environment suffers. Entire ecosystems, such as forests or coral reefs, are damaged every day. The natural beauty of our planet is slowly degrading.
In order to stop this decline, we must recycle more, clean up our community, and use less electricity. This may seem difficult or inefficient, but it’s worth it. Our air will be cleaner, animals will thrive, and our friends will be happier.
Slowly but surely, through strong habits and consistency, our Earth will look beautiful again.
