In Oregon, what are the best places to get food? 

In Oregon, my favorite place to eat is La Rockita and Evergreen Indian Restaurant In Corvallis. 

What places in Oregon have the best views? 

The best place to sightsee in Oregon is the summit of Mount Hood. The best time to start climbing is between midnight and 2 a.m. so you can get to the summit by sunrise. Crater Lake is also a place everyone should visit. 

What are the best places to get out and exercise? 

The best place is the Sisters and Bend area. Here, you have access to the Three Sisters Deschutes National Forest. 

What places would you recommend for someone out of town?

For a combination of destination and food, one of my favorite places to go is Jefferson Park, which is at the base of Mount Jefferson. It’s about five miles to get to the park. In order to get in, you need the correct hiking permit for the trails you are going to hike. It includes beautiful lakes that are very clear and bright blue. Then on your way back home, on your way down highway 22, towards Salem, there is an ice cream store called Idanha. They sell scooped ice cream and fancy chocolate truffles. 

Where’s the best place to go for local entertainment?

OSU has tons of entertainment. You could go to a football, volleyball, or basketball game, and you could go to a gymnastics meet. There are often concerts,  art exhibits, bowling, or even lectures. Just being near the university there’s always something happening. 

Is there anything else you would like me to know? 

The Sno Cap in Sisters has really good milkshakes and is a fun experience — I get a chocolate marionberry milkshake. There is also a chocolate shop in Corvallis called Bursts Candies. It’s a cute little local place that makes all its candy by hand. Corvallis has a really good farmers’ market on Saturdays. In the summer it’s on the waterfront, and in winter it’s on the fairgrounds.
