Springing Into Break

What West Albany students are excited for over break

This post was edited on March 25th to make a correction to a name.

Q: What’s your favorite spring break memory? 

“Being with my grandparents and watching movies.”

Q: What is your most exciting plan for spring break?

Freshman Madi Thompson  

“Hanging out with my friends.” 

Q: What is something you recommend doing over break? 

“Go to the movies!”

 

Freshman Addi Thompson

Q: What’s your favorite spring break memory? 

“Being with my grandparents and going shopping.”

Q: What is your most exciting plan for spring break? 

“I’m probably going to go to the Barn with some friends.” 

Q: What is something you recommend doing over break? 

“Spend time with your friends and go to Washington Square Mall.”

 

Freshman Delta Zeigler

Q: What is your best spring break memory?

“[Going to] California, my home town in California, shout out California, that’s like the best place you can go.”

Q:Do you have any recommendations for Spring Break?

 “Traveling is nice. I enjoy Traveling. I’ve got a couple of friends who are going too, like Washington, California, and Nevada for Spring.”

Q:What are you going to do during this Spring Break?

“I don’t even know what’s going on. I’m gonna see if the weather is good enough to go skating. That would be nice.”

 

 

 

Freshman Logan Vestal

Q: What is your best spring break memory?

“Probably going to a rock show in sweet home high school. There’s a club in sweet home, like a crystal club, and a bunch of older folk hold a show where they do raffles and sell crystals.”

Q:Do you have any recommendations for Spring Break?

“Go outside and enjoy your time out there while it lasts, because summer isn’t very long.”

Q:What are you going to do during this Spring Break?

“Going to the rock show again, i go every year, i’ve been going for around 7 or 8 years too.”

 

Sophomores Isaac Conrad, Thomas Lucero, Ishan Vashisht, Angel Perez, Caden Coggins

Q: What are you looking forward to? 

Conrad: Sleep!

Lucero: Getting my money (Perez agrees)

Vashisht: Hanging out with friends

Conrad: I’m getting a truck for free this weekend—the door doesn’t work [and] it gets 10 miles per gallon.

Q: Something you’re not as excited about? 

Conrad: I’ve got three games next week for baseball.

Q: Do you have a favorite spring break memory that stands out to you? 

Vishisht: Probably going to New York…about two years ago

Perez: I went camping in Florence, OR for the dunes.

Q: Do you have any recommendations? 

Vishisht: We live in Oregon—go on a hike, [like] Silver Falls.

Conrad: Get some exercise in.

Lucero: Get a job.

Vashisht: Enjoy the time off!
