On January 1st, a Pep assembly presented the West Albany High School’s girls water polo team a state runner up award, along with the boys, who won at state, presenting their trophies to Mr. Engle. During the assembly, there were also several events mentioned, such as the upcoming masquerade themed winter formal, and The first West vs. South rival basketball unity game which will be held on Martin Luther King Jr. Day; the game aims to honor his beliefs.
