Wuthering Heights 2026

A classic Emily Bonte novel turned into a glorified forbidden romance with the face of Jacob Elordi written all over it. Margot Robbie Plays Catherine, bringing such chaos and attitude to the character, while Jacob Elordi kept the brooding and intense aspect to Heathcliff, but lacking the diversity in the original book. The cinematography is moody, matching the emotional storm between the characters. This version focuses less on romance and more on toxic longing over the years of their lives.

Underrated: Hong Chau, “Her character is supposed to make you mad, and she literally enraged me. I thought she played the part really well.”

Overrated: Jacob Elordi, “ I think he did a good job with the role, but he is overrated because he’s super popular.”

Scream 7 2026

Another year, another Scream franchise movie. This new film heavily relies on nostalgia for longtime fans, like bringing back a recognizable face, Stu, played by Matthew Lillard, and one of the two original killers from the first film back in 1996. With the nostalgia, it brings a new generation to light: Sydney’s daughter, Tatum. This new killer is out for family blood, targeting not only Sydney but her daughter.

Underrated: Matthew Lillard, “His ability to play energetic over-the-top characters, such as in Scream and Scooby Doo.”

Overrated: McKenna Grace, “ Her lack of variety in roles.”

Goat movie 2026

Goat is a movie dedicated to all the “greatest of all time” athletes in sports, but in this version its an animated goat playing basketball. The film follows a rising basketball star, constantly compared to stars before him like Jett, the protagonist. The film shows a lot of contrast between those who play for the love of the game and those who try to soak up all the greatness selfishly. Sony will never do animated deep storytelling wrong.
