Sitting down with the avid coffee drinker Madeline Hoffert-Hay, chooses between two of the best places to go in town, Starbucks and Dutch Bros.

When out for coffee, which would you rather have?

MH-I would rather have Starbucks for sure.

What causes your opinion?

MH-Starbucks has better coffee, the one they make at Dutch Bros is too sweet. The selection at Starbucks is greater when it comes to coffee as well, with more kinds of drinks.

What is the crowd situation like?

MH-Dutch Bros is always crowded with long lines, Starbuck is also crowded, but not as much since there is inside sitting.

What do you think caused you to prefer your choice?

MH-My dad also likes to go to Starbucks, he always went there when we went out for a drink. I also enjoy going to Starbucks with friends, being able to sit in the car enjoying our drinks is what I look forward to for the week.

Have you had any negative experiences concerning your choice?

MH-I tried to get a job there, but they didn’t want me.

What is your favorite drink?

MH-The caramel macchiato, it is a hit or miss.
